What makes your business a top employer? SteelMaster encourages a culture of honesty and respect with a fun, yet productive environment.

How do you measure employee/workplace satisfaction? We administer company feedback surveys twice a year and aim to create an environment that encourages our employees to share feedback.

What strategies do you have for retaining employees? SteelMaster encourages work-life balance to help our employees feel excited to come to the office, as well as creates a work environment in which our employees feel valued and appreciated.

What do you do to develop employees and help them grow? There are many opportunities to grow within SteelMaster. We have multiple departments, with different products and focuses. Our employees also work in smaller teams to help with our hands-on coaching and training model that allows managers to help them when needed.

Are you hiring? What do you look for in employees? We are hiring! We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a great attitude and work ethic.

How did COVID-19 affect your workplace? Any lessons learned? The COVID-19 pandemic had a tremendous impact on the growth of our company. In addition, it taught us how to be nimble and adjust to an ever-changing environment to protect our employees while meeting the needs of our customers.
